Male infertility causes, What is the fuss all about?

Today infertility affects  about 15% of all couples who are actively trying for a child.

Infertility is frequently defined as the inability to conceive after 1 or 2 years of unprotected sexual intercourse.

Infertility has now been declared as a public health problem and in India it affects anywhere between 10 to 20 million couples at any point in time. Interesting, the cause of infertility is usually either in the male or female or a combination of the two.


What is even more important is that……….

male infertility is rampant in our country contributing to at least 60% of infertility itself!.

Even more alarming, is the fact that today male infertility and problems with sexual health affects over 7% of all men in the world. This global incidence is even greater than Diabetes mellitus!!!!, thus high lighting the urgent need for these specialists.


What are the causes of male infertility?

The causes are numerous!.

It is important to understand here, that some conditions are frequently associated with male infertility but may not be a direct proximate cause.
